“The collaboration is part of a larger commitment in 2021 by Major League Soccer to increase supplier diversity and follows the launch of previous collaborations with minority-owned brands in other markets. Director of Merchandising and Licensing for Minnesota United Katie Burke worked with Sutherland to launch the Hybrid Nation collection.

The design for the collection was also a collaboration with input and direction given from MNUFC defender Michael Boxall and shared with the Hybrid Nation design team. The year five bomber jacket, ¼ zip pullover, jogger track pants, and loon feather dad hat celebrate the blue, gray, black, and pop of red colors of the team, adding signature design elements from the streetwear brand”
